Gonzaga Day 2017 took place on 2nd June 2017. Gonzaga Day is an annual event when our school commemorates the good deeds of the patron of our school St. Aloysius Gonzaga; who spent his life to love and care for the poor, needy and the sick people.
Gonzaga Day was preceeded by a special day where pupils with their teachers visited the needy, poor and sick people in the community to comfort them, pray with them and give them gifts to help meet their material needs.
The climax of Gonzaga Day 2017 involved a mass service at St. John's Parish Luhanga which was led by Father Charles Munubi, which was followed by a ceremony at the school campus. The ceremony involved performances of various entertainment activities prepared by pupils in colaboration with their teachers.
Father Charles Munubi who has been the director of the school, also took the opportunity to bid farewell to pupils and staff as director of Gonzaga. Father Charles will be shifting to another Jesuit's mission in Arusha, and his position as director of Gonzaga will be taken by someone else.
